An idea is a plan, thought or suggestion, especially about what to do in a particular situation..

  1. An idea is a plan, thought or suggestion, especially about what to do in a particular situation. Everyone is capable of conceiving or generating ideas. But we have since discovered that majority of the human race are either ignorant of the power of ideas or too lazy to engage their minds in ideas generation.
  2. It becomes very important to look at this issue because the quality of your action, and by extension, your life, is a result of your ideas. Today, it is evident, that ideas rule the world. What organizations, corporations, companies and the world at large are looking for today are men of ideas. Dynamic and revolutionary ideas! In today’s world, men of ideas are rated above men of strength. They are better placed and rewarded because every organization moves or stops on ideas. Every physical strength that is not well-channeled through well-thought out idea will lead to disaster. The strength of a fool will destroy him, even as the Bible says that the prosperity of a fool is his destruction.
  3. Ideas enhance life. That was why the Apostle Paul prayed for the Ephesian believers “Your eyes of understanding be enlightened” (Eph. 1:18). A blind mind is worse than a blind eye. When you are blank in your mind, waiting only for miracle; not engaging your mind for a solution or way out, you have a blind mind. That is why we see some blind people doing better than some people with open eyes. They are blind in their minds. And some cripples are doing better than able bodied men.
  4. You have to be creative in your thinking. The thinking here is not worry or anxiety but generation of ideas and engaging those ideas toward positive results. Solutions are buried inside you. Until you stir your mind through brainstorming you may die without ever seeing those solutions. You are capable of many things, in fact, great things. Until you see them in your mind you may not see them with your eyes. New things or new levels of life are products of new thought. This is what is called mental exercise to generate facts. The facts you have will determine how fat your pocket, life and achievements will be.
  5. If you need new levels of life, switch to a new way of thinking. Engage your mind. Old ways of thinking or old ideas will give you old results. Stale or soured ideas will give you stale results. Foolish ideas will give you foolish outcome. That is why the Bible says in Rom. 12:2 “Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think…”
  6. It is a known fact, that you cannot be promoted above your skill. And your skill is a product of your mind engagements. If you want to increase your allocation in life, increase your ability or skill through quality ideas engagement or generation. New wine will not be put in an old bottle (Luke 5:37). A new level in life is given to a man that has had a new way of thinking. That is why those using demonic power to change their levels are fools. In a genuine change, the first area that should change is the man. Prosperity of the pocket of a man with poverty of the heart is a disaster ready to happen. It is like a man with a Ph. D certificate but with kindergarten knowledge. He is mockery in human skin or foolishness personified. The prosperity of a fool is his disaster (Prov. 1:32).
  7. That is why the sinner is in trouble. Some people have their imaginations darkened and corrupt. That serves as a virus that has cankered the whole realm of their lives. That is why, instead of engaging their minds, some run to cultic altars to mortgage their souls for success. Turn to God for a cleansing and for the restoration of the creative mind of God in your life. Season your mind with the word of God and give wings to your thought by the power of the Holy Spirit. With that, you can fly through every mountain and valley of life.
